How do I get my villa drawings in Dubai?
Your property's approved drawings are kept on file by the master developer, the building management or the authority for the area (Dubai Municipality, DDA or Trakhees). You don't need to chase them yourself: Structural Solutions requests them for you. Send us your title deed, Emirates ID or passport and a signed authorisation letter, and we collect the drawings and send them to you as PDF, and CAD where available. If no drawings are on file, or the property has changed, we survey it and prepare new as-built drawings.
What are as-built drawings?
- As-built drawings: Drawings that show the property as it was actually built, including changes made since the original approval.
- Approved drawings: The drawings the developer and authority approved. They may not show later extensions or changes.
- Who keeps them: The master developer, the building management or the authority for the area.
- When you need them: Selling, extensions and NOCs, completion certificates, DEWA applications and fit-outs.
