03Regulatory Information

We publish guidance on approval processes in the UAE, including Dubai Municipality (DM), Dubai Development Authority (DDA), Trakhees, Dubai Civil Defence (DCD), DEWA, RTA, DMCC and Concordia, and developers such as Emaar, Nakheel, DAMAC, Meraas, Dubai Holding and Meydan.

Structural Solutions is not liable for decisions made on the basis of requirements or procedures that have since changed.

04Scope of Services

Structural Solutions is a structural engineering and approvals consultancy based in Business Bay, Dubai. Our services include structural calculations, engineering and as-built drawings, shop drawings, developer NOC applications, authority approval submissions, inspections, sign-off and related consultancy.

• Work is carried out project by project, under a signed agreement and an agreed scope of work.
• Approval decisions are made by the relevant authority or developer and are never guaranteed by Structural Solutions.
• Any project schedule shared during an engagement is an estimate and may change due to factors outside our control, such as authority workload, public holidays or missing documents.
• Retrospective approvals and violation cases are handled case by case and depend on the authority's decision.

05Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by UAE law, Structural Solutions and its engineers and staff are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or special loss arising from:

• Reliance on information on this website without professional advice.
• Changes to authority requirements or developer guidelines that affect a project.
• Actions of third-party contractors, site conditions not disclosed to us, or events beyond our control.
• Authority processing delays outside our control.
• Decisions by an authority or developer to approve, reject or conditionally approve a submission.

Our total liability for any engagement is limited to the fees paid for that specific scope of work.
