The JGE Rules That Matter Here
- How big the villa can get: total floor area up to 0.8 times the plot area in villa districts (1.0 in Hillside Villas)
- How much of the plot: the ground floor can cover about 40 to 50 percent of the plot; the first floor up to about 60 to 75 percent of the ground floor
- Distance from boundaries: front 3 m (side garage) or 6 m (front garage), sides 2.5 m, rear 6 m
- Height: up to 9.15 m to the eave and 12.15 m to the roof in most districts
- Added area is measured: an approved surveyor (DM or DLD / RERA) measures any added floor area
