What does a mall shop MEP package include?
A mall shop MEP package includes HVAC, power and lighting, fire alarm, sprinkler and plumbing drawings with calculations, prepared to the mall tenant guide and approved by the mall and DCD.
The short answer
A typical mall shop MEP package has: HVAC layout and cooling load calculation, connected to the mall chilled water or AC supply; power and lighting layouts with the load schedule and distribution board; fire alarm and sprinkler layouts coordinated with the ceiling; and plumbing and drainage where the shop has a sink or washroom. Drawings follow the mall tenant guide and are stamped by the consultant for the mall and DCD submission. A BOQ is not part of our package; the contractor prices the works from the drawings.
