Post-Tensioned Slab Opening Assessment in Dubai

Many towers have post-tensioned slabs with tensioned steel tendons inside. Cutting one can be dangerous, so we locate the tendons by scanning and records, choose a safe position and design the opening.

Post-Tensioned Slab Opening Assessment in Dubai FAQs

Can I cut a post-tensioned slab?

Only after locating the tendons and a design.

Is merging two apartments possible in every tower?

Not always. If the wall between the units is a shear wall or part of the core, openings may be limited or not allowed. A structural check answers this first.

Who approves apartment merging?

The building management or developer NOC comes first, then the area authority permit and DCD approval for fire safety.

Will I get one title deed?

Yes, the units can be merged into one title deed with DLD after the works are approved. We can handle it on your behalf.

Do sprinklers and alarms need changes?

Usually yes. The new layout changes fire compartments and coverage, which DCD approves.
